2019.10.15 Quantifying, Locating, and Calculating

This morning was more relaxed. I did not have rush the morning to go the Tualatin.

I have been reading from the Book of Ether in the Book of Mormon lately, and there are not much doctrine taught in the abridgment of their civilization's history. The Book of Mormon is a testimony of Christ from two civilizations the Jaredites and the Nephites. There are more nations; however, the Jaredites and the Nephites' histories did not cross except for the sole survivor of the Jaredite nation, who witnessed and lead the complete destruction of the civilization. He did not live long with the Nephites. It is incredible how God set up the Americas to be a land separate from the known world, establishing righteous civilizations that know the truth, and they have to deliberately choose to rebel against man and God. I think that the the Jaredites justified their sins by indulging in carnality and rebelling against man rather than directly rebelling against God. Any rebellion against the commandments of God will lead to destruction.

We studied the invitation in Philippians 4:8 to think on good things as follows: "Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things." Jessica and I did not talk much about it, so we should go over it again another morning. The evening prior we counseled about how to make Jasmine's baby shower, which Jessica is hosting, a success. I asked her this morning about her successes to help her think of a method and vision on how to approach the baby shower better.

Today I continued my project to see how we stand with our inventory with the Kingspan insulation. I finished getting the widths of the Alimak and the level seventeen leave-outs in order to load the Hydromobile lifts with stone. I went to quantify and locate the mast tie backs, which we have to replace, since we have covered them temporarily; most with Kingspan. Afterward, I started calculating the widths, so I can begin matching them with the inventory. I counted over 250 locations to replace when the Hydromobile lifts are removed. This number does include locations that we have not filled yet, which do have tie backs going through the bays.
